Head to Shibuya Crossing The Statue of Hachikō is located near Shibuya Crossing in the central Tokyo City section of the map. Open your world map and look for the large urban district filled with tight streets, tall buildings, and heavy pedestrian traffic. The easiest landmark to identify is the massive intersection at Shibuya. You should also notice a large pedestrian bridge crossing above the road. That is the correct area. Another useful marker is the Speed Trap event placed directly at the intersection. If you set that event as your waypoint, it will guide you almost exactly to the statue’s location. Finding the StatueOnce you arrive at Shibuya Crossing, slow down and pull over near the walking plaza beside the intersection. The statue itself is not large, so spotting it while driving can be difficult. The monument sits near the edge of the pedestrian area surrounded by NPC crowds. Because there are so many people walking through the plaza, the statue often blends into the environment unless you stop and look carefully. Look for a small bronze dog statue standing on a short stone pedestal. That is the famous Statue of Hachikō. Best Way to Complete the Photo ChallengeThis location becomes much easier once you switch into Photo Mode. After parking near the intersection: - Open Photo Mode.
- Rotate the camera away from your vehicle.
- Aim toward the crowded pedestrian walkways.
- Search for the bronze dog statue among the NPCs.
- Center it in the frame and take the picture.
Once the statue is fully visible in your camera shot, the game should register the challenge immediately. This completes Photo Location #23 in the Discover Japan list. Why Players Miss This LocationA lot of players expect the statue to be large or placed in an obvious landmark area, but the game keeps it fairly realistic to the real-world Shibuya location. The crowded sidewalks and heavy traffic make the statue surprisingly easy to overlook on your first visit. It also does not stand directly in the middle of the intersection. Instead, it is tucked slightly off to the side near the pedestrian plaza, which is why many players drive past it several times before noticing it. Final TipsIf you are still having trouble locating the statue, try visiting during daylight or lowering your driving speed when entering the intersection. The NPC crowd can block your view depending on traffic and camera angle. Using the nearby Speed Trap as a reference point is usually the fastest method. Once you know where the plaza is, the statue becomes much easier to spot on future visits. For players working through every Discover Japan objective in Forza Horizon 6, this is one of the more memorable urban exploration challenges in the game.
