If you are trying to get your hands on the legendary 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 in Forza Horizon 6, you might have noticed it is missing from the standard Autoshow line-up early on. That is because this iconic rally beast is locked behind a Barn Find. To add it to your garage, you will need to level up your campaign a bit, trigger the rumor, and then go hunting in the mountains. Here is exactly how to find it. Step 1: Hit Level 4 in "Discover Japan"The barn won't actually trigger or let you interact with it until you have progressed enough in the campaign. Specifically, you need to work on your Discover Japan stamps. Open up your campaign menu, head to the Collector’s Journal, and look at the "Discover Japan" section. You need to reach Level 4, which gives you the Pathfinder stamp (you might also hear players call it the Pink Stamp). If you are short on points to hit Level 4, just focus on doing a mix of these activities: Completing standard story missions Knocking out touge and road races Smashing regional mascots around the map Buying player houses
Once that Pathfinder stamp pops, the game will trigger the Barn Find search zone on your map. Step 2: Head into the Shimanoyama HillsOnce the rumor is active, you need to make your way over to the Shimanoyama region. The easiest way to pinpoint the barn is to look for the Mountain Pass Speed Zone, which is tucked into the northwest corner of the Shimanoyama area. Drive out to that speed zone. Right near the middle of the speed camera zone, look for a wide dirt track / gravel path that splits off and heads north up the hill. Turn onto that dirt path and follow it all the way up. The hidden barn sits right at the top of the hill, and it is pretty easy to spot once you get up there. Just drive up to the doors to trigger the cutscene. Step 3: Wait out the RestorationOnce you find the barn, the Peugeot is officially yours, but it isn't ready to drive just yet. It gets sent to your garage for a full restoration because it has been sitting in a barn for years. You have two choices here: The Free Way: Just keep playing the game. Go run some races, explore the map, and do your thing. The engineers will restore it automatically in the background, and you'll get a notification when it is ready. The Instant Way: If you absolutely cannot wait, you can go to the Barn Finds menu and pay a heavy credit fee to bypass the wait time entirely.
Honestly, unless you are swimming in credits, it is usually much better to just go do a few races and wait it out. Once the restoration is complete, this Group B homologation special is all yours to tune and tear up the touge roads.
